Muzzle threading

The suppressors from Danish Guntech are typically front-mounted suppressors, available with different thread sizes - and thread types. All suppressors are made to order - so "anything" is possible. However we strongly recommend the use of  M14x1 threads if the rifle have not yet been threaded. Generally we recommend the use of righthanded M14x1 (for Light barreled weapons in .30 and smaler calibers) M15x1 (for Light barreled weapons 9.3x62, .338 Win Mag and similar calibres) and M18x1 (for Heavy/target barrels in all calibre) if the rifle have not yet been threaded.

Compared to a 1,5mm rise, the smaller 1mm rise on the thread will make it more difficult for the suppressor to loosen itself under use.

Alternative mounting options for rifles with flash hiders are also available. Our solution for the standard NATO A2 flash hider is one of these options.
